WELCOMING VISITORS to Ruth and Wimpy's is a giant, fiberglass figure known as Wilbur the Lobster. Roadway Express featured Wilbur in its Annual Calendar celebrating remarkable Roadside Attractions. Christie Alley wanted Wilbur for her Islesboro estate and offered Wimpy a blank check. “No dice,” Wimpy said. “Wilbur's our logo.”
